Non-residents may obtain a membership for a non-refundable annual fee of $70.00. Alberta residents with a home library card may sign up for limited borrowing privileges through Me Libraries.

How do I view my account online?
Visit the library catalogue at www.tracpac.ab.ca and login using the barcode from your library card and your PIN.

How do I renew my items?
You can renew up to two times as long as there are no holds on the item. Items may be renewed in person, by phone, or online.

What happens if I return items past the due date?
The Library encourages the return of library materials on time so that they may be available for others to borrow. Fines are by donation.

How do I search for library items online?
You can search for books, DVDs, audiobooks, and more using the library catalogue, called TRAC. When you enter your search into the search bar, the results will show all items in TRAC, not just the Banff Public Library.

To narrow your results to the Banff Library, select “More Search Options” and limit your library to Banff.

How do I access online books, movies, audiobooks, and more?

Access all our digital media here. You will need your library card barcode and PIN to login to many of these sites.
